Full Throttle: Summer Stages, the Gym Floor, and Wrapping Up Rebellis Intus

Looking back over the past few months, “busy” doesn’t quite cover it. Summer 2026 has been a whirlwind of high-energy shows, dedicated hours in the gym, and late nights in the studio dialing in guitar tones. Balancing the road, fitness coaching, and personal creative projects takes a lot of fuel, but when you love the work, every mile is worth it.

Here is a look at what has been keeping the wheels turning lately.

Makin’ Some Noise with The Wildflowers

Touring with The Wildflowers this summer reached a whole new level. We hit incredible venues and festival stages, traveling thousands of miles to bring Tom Petty’s timeless catalog to life. There is nothing quite like locking into that groove with the guys, turning up, and watching whole crowds sing back every single word.

From packed amphitheaters under the summer night sky to theater dates where audiences sang back every word from the first chord of “American Girl” to the final ringing notes of “Refugee,” the camaraderie on and off stage has been at an all-time high. There is a specific kind of magic that happens when a band locks into that classic pocket, and sharing that feeling with thousands of fellow music lovers weekend after weekend is a reminder of why we do this. Thank you to everyone who came out, said hello, and rocked with us—your support keeps the engine running.

Pushing Limits at AlphaUSA Training

When I wasn’t plugged into a pedalboard or boarding a flight, my focus was squarely on the floor at AlphaUSA Training.

Coaching clients through their fitness journeys remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my daily routine. Whether we are building foundational strength, improving functional longevity, or dialing in sustainable lifestyle habits, seeing people hit personal bests and transform their confidence is inspiring. The discipline required under the barbell translates directly to everything else in life—consistency, patience, and grit. To all my clients who showed up this summer and put in the work despite the heat and crazy schedules: I see you, and I’m proud of the progress we’re making together.

Bringing Rebellis Intus to the Finish Line

Between the road and the gym, every spare hour has gone into tracking, tweaking, and producing my upcoming solo album, Rebellis Intus.

This record has been a true labor of love, and such an opportunity to reacquaint myself with the process, from learning the new recording technology, to honing in on song arrangement and composition. The title roughly translates to “The Rebel Within,” and sonically, it captures the raw, unfiltered rock and roll spirit that originally drove me to pick up an electric guitar. From driving riffs and heavy grooves to melodic hooks and introspective lyrical turns, this album is a direct reflection of where I am as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer today.

I’m thrilled to say I’m down to the final stages. Watching these songs evolve from initial riffs and scratch tracks into finished, hard-hitting mixes has been an exhilarating process. I cannot wait to get this record out into the world and into your headphones.

What’s Next

Fall is rolling in, but things aren’t slowing down. We’ve got more shows on the horizon, including an epic, all day, 3-shows event on New Year’s Eve at Madlife Stage & Studios in Woodstock GA, new training goals to hit, and official release details for Rebellis Intus coming very soon—including singles, artwork reveals, music videos, and behind-the-scenes looks into the studio sessions (that my Facebook subscribers have had exclusive access to from the start).

Thank you all for following along on the journey, supporting the music, and bringing the energy every step of the way. Stay tuned—the best is right around the corner.

Peace, love, and rock and roll!
Curt
